Peruvian tamales wrapped in banana leaves, in which they are cooked. Inside is a a corn-based dough with meat. Tamales in Peru are traditionally consumed as breakfast on Sundays accompanied by buns, limes and salsa criolla (onion salad) (Selective Focus, Focus on the front of the upper tamale)
